Technical Compliance & Stand-Down Policy
Unbroke complies strictly with Awin's Rule 4 regarding browser extensions. We respect the attribution hierarchy and ensure we do not cannibalize traffic referred by other Awin publishers.
1Detection Mechanism
Our extension continuously monitors the browser tab's URL and document referrer upon loading. Specifically, we check for the presence of the following Awin attribution parameters:

2Stand-Down Logic
If any of the parameters above are detected during the user's session:
Passive Mode
The extension automatically enters "Stand-Down Mode".
Suppressed Solicitations
No automatic price comparison notifications, message bubbles, or intrusive pop-ups will be displayed.
Passive UI Only
The extension remains available solely via its minimized floating icon (launcher) or browser toolbar button, waiting for explicit user interaction.
No Auto-Injection
We do not attempt to overwrite the affiliate cookie automatically.
3User-Initiated Override (Compliance Exception)
Consistent with the guidance for cashback/comparison tools, affiliate tracking is only initiated if:
The user actively clicks on the Unbroke browser action icon or sidebar to open the interface.
The user explicitly clicks a "View Deal" or "Go to Store" button inside the extension.
This action confirms the user's intent to switch to Unbroke's offer, adhering to the "explicit and affirmative click" exception policy.
